Originally from the northeast, Nancy Pellatt has lived in the Carolinas for the past 28 years. She is known for her realistic renderings of horses, dogs, hounds and related subjects and is currently working out of her studio near Charleston, SC. Pellatt's work hangs in many private collections as well as having appeared in numerous art exhibits throughout the country; including:
- The National Arts Club in NYC
- The International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
- National Museum of Women In The Arts in Washington, DC
- Aiken Thoroughbred Hall of Fame and Museum in Aiken, SC
- Wildlife Experience Museum in Denver, CO
- The Schiele Museum in Charlotte, NC
- Madison Morgan Cultural Center in Madison, GA
- The Art Show At The Dog Show, Wichita KA
- Cross Gate Gallery Traveling Exhibit to Benefit the MFHA 2007 Centennial.
Pellatt's work has also appeared on the cover of Trakehner Magazine and six times to-date on the cover of The Chronicle of the Horse. Her painting of Champion Foxhound Bitch, Tryon Sassoon, is in the collection of the Museum of Hounds and Hunting at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia.
Nancy Pellatt is a member of the American Academy of Equine Art as well as The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and is fortunate to have studied with Jean Bowman and Sam Savitt, both founding members of the AAEA. She is affiliated with the Beresford Gallery of Unionville, PA and Saratoga Springs, NY as well as the Dog & Horse Gallery of Charleston, South Carolina.
