Werner
Rentsch is best known for his paintings of horses. His work depicting
racing, polo, foxhunting and show jumping has appeared in New York
City, Saratoga Springs and at the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington,
Kentucky, the Aiken Thoroughbred Hall of Fame in South Carolina,
Aqueduct Raceway in New York and Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.
He
studied painting at the School of Visual Art, Pratt Institute
and the Art Students League in New York.
A
full member of the Academy since 1984, Rentsch has served as
AAEA President since 1994.
