It is my sincere belief that we can all learn to paint, but, it is in the silent, beautiful recesses of our minds and souls where the masterpiece is born. True artistic expression; interpreting the images of that place, and bringing them into the world for you to glimpse is my goal.

I believe there is art in everyone, whether your art is the playing of music, teaching children, or writing poetry. My art is painting and teaching light, beautiful light - whether it is caught within an ancient eye, or shining upon a magnificent Thoroughbred. If my art can enlighten, please and heal the spirit, then I have succeeded - and I am truly blessed.

Lesley was the featured artist in the December 1999/January 2000 issue of Equine Images. Her work has been shown through the Academy at the Central Gallery-Downtown Pubic Library, Lexington, Kentucky; The Sportsman's Gallery, Atlanta, Georgia, and The National Sporting Library, Middleburg, Virginia; Arts in the Parks 2000 at Haigh County Park, Lancashire, England; and the Observer Galleries, Lancashire, England.

Lesley is a well-known art workshop instructor in the United States and the United Kingdom, covering many themes and subjects including horses.
