Kathleen Friedenberg is an English-born sculptress who started out as a veterinarian and a medical illustrator. A night-school course "just for fun" gave her a taste for sculpting that soon turned into an obsession. Though horses are a favorite subject, Friedenberg also creates pieces involving a variety of human and animal forms.

She is a full artist and board member of the AAEA as well as being a member of the Society of Animal Artists and the National Sculpture Society.
